The RN-4 58mm Filter Adapter from JJC is made specifically to allow 58mm filters, lens adapters and other attachments with a 58mm thread size to fit onto the camera.

FAQ’s: Can I use a teleconverter lens with this adapter?
No, we do not recommend add-on lenses such as tele or wide angle because of the weight.

Can I use a Canon lens hood with the filter adapter?
Unfortunately not, as the filter adapter attaches in the same place as the lens hood. JJC supply optional screw in 58mm lens hoods which threads directly onto the filters thread.

Can I use any of the original lens caps on the filter holder or filter?
No, the original Canon lens cap will only fit on the cameras lens. The filter adapter is designed for 58mm filters and accepts a regular 58mm lens cap.

Can I use more than one filter?
You can stack filters or use step rings but their use may cause vignetting…. more >>
