I bought one of these to replace a old CRT portable in my kitchen. I’m very happy with it – picture and sound quality are excllent and its easy to use.
I don’t agree with the previous reviewer about it being “wall mount” only. Mine arrived in the same way as described in that review, and although its not immediately obvious how to tilt the stand (you do think its not going to budge) I persisted and it tilted fine after a few minutes – mine is sat on a kitchen work surface not mounted
Only minor gripe is that I would like to play tunes from my iPod using its speaker. Despite having various sockets this is not possible – a fact confirmed by Samsung technical support. I can do this perfectly well on another Sony flatscreen TV I have.

Well packed and smart looking. We wanted a small tv for the kitchen ready for our switch to digital services. Easy to set up though the base is exceptionally stiff to twist from the default postion. Picture is adequate but sound a bit boxy. Fine for kitchens and the like

Great looking TV from Samsung. But it was wanted to stand on the table, not go on the wall. The stand was fixed in an upright position for wall fitting and even though the instructions (very vague in this respect)suggested the stand would tilt down when pressing a button it was rigid and would not budge, leading to the conclusion that this was a wall mounted model only (in direct conflict with the rear picture of this model on Amazon. Have ordered the earlier version with loads of good reviews so sure will be OK this time. Just wanted to warn you!! NB: Excellent return procedure with Amazon, all acknowledged and refund within a few days.
