sony lens wide conversion x06/30mm just got this lens today put it on sony dcr 110e handycam what a difference the reason i orederd it was because when i was using camcorder i could only fit top half of peoples bodys so i called up sony they told me it was because cam was wide screen they told me i need a wide lens cheapest i found was on amazon anyway iam very happy now that i can get a whole person to fit into screen also comes with lens cover and bag very happy with my purchase

Was not sure how much of a difference the lens would really make but it is fantastic. For the price it is an essential purchase.

You know the story, trying to shoot lots of people
and some don’t fit in the frame?
This is great for indoors video, the 0.6x wide angle also pulls
in more light and lets you film more people or objects in the frame
and is’nt too “fisheye”
(You can get away with more camera shake too
Solid quality build from Sony, fabric bag, lens caps front and back.
30mm x 0.75 thread fits most Stan Def and Hi Def handycams but check

A nice simple wide angle lens for the budget market. I am using it on a Sony DCRSR37 Handycam and it is just the right thing for squeezing that little bit extra into your shot.
It comes with double protection – 2 lens caps and a draw string bag.
Don’t let the Amazon Marketplace price fool you – this is a good quality piece of kit – just look at what you would have to pay for it on other sites.

This is a very good lens! 0.6x wider is a lot of diffrence for the handycam users.
